Our teaching programs will include basic information as follows: the benefits of organic food compared to foods with pesticides or GMO food, how to grow your own food economically and easily, proper diet/nutrition based on an individuals body type, how your thoughts control your reality, and how to have an abundant and satisfying life. The importance of elimination of harmful frequencies (television, radio, etc.) from an individuals life to achieve mental and spiritual freedom. Our treatment programs will include all holistic healing modalities (acupuncture, reiki, herbal, homeopathic, diet, qi gong etc.) for numerous health issues plaguing society today, including diabetes, high blood pressure, inflammation, arthritis, cancer etc.
IHC intends to produce these sustainable health centers and communities as an alternative to the chaotic toxic lifestyle of current times. the locations: Sky Island Oasis and Grapevine Oasis
Sky Island Oasis - home of Sky Island Mushrooms
Located on the north point of the Cochise Stronghold tucked up against the rocks sits the land known as the Gateway of Light. This property has been used by people for thousands of years. Evidence of Clovis peoples occupation in the area connect us through time to all humanity. A site believed to be energetically powerful we follow in the footsteps of spiritual elders from long past to the most recent past; where this site was used as a Religious youth retreat for many years.
Mushroom cultivation as a means of supporting the project has become a reality and will be the foundation upon which the company grows.
Grapevine Oasis
Located on the East side of the Dragoon Range, south of the Stronghold, a true desert mountain paradise awaits. Surrounded by national forest this Oasis located in the Grapevine Canyon was once a working ranch. Cowboys and horse lovers from around the world would come to ride and stay in the uninterrupted peace of this secluded mountain getaway. Our Acquisition of this property greatly expands our ability to offer seminars, lectures and hands on demonstrations. With its park like setting, abundant nature and cozy casitas, it is the perfect place to reconnect with the self and find balance. A certified commercial kitchen and dining area are ideal for hosting nutritional events as well as providing us with a way to bring our products to market.

the lizard fire of 2017 |
In the blazing heat of June, at the moment when the desert is at its most dry... Wild Fire.
From the north it came, slowly for the first few days. Smoke rising in the distance, we get to work...
All hands join with tool and machine; sweat glistening on the brow, on the rusted steel of a spade. Laid low the grasses came down and the dirt was turned up and made bare.
2 days, smoke getting thicker... 3 days, we now smell the fire mixed amongst the other fragrances of cut grass, dry dirt, sweat and blood. 4 days, still preparing for the Beast moving in starts and fits towards us from the north....
Friday winds whip the fire into a frenzy, feeding faster on the long dry grasses of the mountain slope. Fire embers riding on the wind like flaming arrows; traveling up to 200 ft before touching down on virgin ground, igniting and advancing the fire line with Devils speed. Our small crew, working through exhaustion gather on the north front for the final stand. Blacktail Mountain, less than a mile away, disappears in fire and smoke. Friends and Neighbors from the Canyon arrive ready to help, we put them to work. The fire line is now visible on the horizon, we need more time...
The ground shakes! The Air howls! A Jumbo Jet, flying less than 100' off the ground circles over us! 2.. 3.. 4! more planes in support and helicopters. We are emboldened by air support and renew our strength and keep digging. Moments later the true Calvary arrive; green trucks everywhere! Hotshot crews burst out of their trucks and transports, gear in hand.
With confidence and precision these well trained Firefighters surveyed the fire line and took control.
The air is thick with smoke, we can hear it sizzle and pop. The air planes circle. The hotshots pick their squeeze point and break out the chainsaws.
I look up when I hear the final call to fall back. Eyes stinging with smoke I see the fire is almost here. A loud noise; and I look to the mountain to see a huge tongue of fire lash out at air and stone. They have used Fire to fight Fire. Setting a back fire and creating a wind blast caused the fire to stop at the line on flat ground. Higher on the mountain the fire burns with impunity, not concerned that is has lost the flats for now. Burning like a slow fuse, fire creeps through the rocks.
Darkness comes with no relief; embers burn everywhere. Under the dry leaves the oaks keep at their feet, snakes of flame slither this way and that, catching ablaze any islands of tinder not yet burnt. Hours have passed with shovel and hose in hand, covered in soot and dirt the embers are battled individually. Before the sun comes up the battle is over but the war rages on.
Dawn comes, wipe the charcoal out of my eyes and asses the damage. The fire raged all night and took everything in its path. Mornings calm gives an impression that the beast can be tamed, and I attempted to begin again to cut fire lines on our South side. If a line can be made in the ravine, perhaps we may be spared further burning I hope. The fire had no such plans on being denied this time... As the fire line burned down the mountain and moved toward the canyon, the slow creep of fire in between the rocks quickens as the days heat and wind awaken.
11am and the fire coming down the ravine and the fire creeping through the rocks reunite... With a surprising speed these 2 converging fronts race downhill toward the mushroom shed. Activity picks up to a buzz as all personnel prepare for the second wave of the Lizard fire.
Whooosh was all that you could hear. Fire erupts from the ravine with a beastly red forked tongue reaching out, searching, cleansing all in its path. The plastic containers on the front porch melt, a lawn mower explodes from the gas left in the tank, everything is black....
The line holds... the fire smolders and is diminished. The mountain continues to burn....
For another 2 weeks the firefighters used our property as base camp to fight the fire and keep it from taking the Stronghold. Excellent work and favorable weather conditions helped to end the fire with minimal loss of life or property.
We are grateful for the hard work of the fire crews on the ground and in the air. Thank you.
